Incredible Moment World’s Largest Sea Turtle Emerges You Have Never Seen
This clip captured an unbelievable scene in which a giant leatherback turtle came up from the ocean depths for a break to rest on the sand, and to reflect on her long life.

Several sightseers gazed at the scene in amazement and excitement as the massive turtle made use of her flippers to creep across the sandy shore before heading back into the ocean, her home.

During nesting season, the turtles climb up out of the sea to dig a nest, and laying their eggs in the sand near the water to safely hatch and repopulate their species.
Upon the hatching of the eggs, the new baby sea turtles are at a close enough to the ocean to scuttle away and begin their lives. Remember this though: those babies take an unbelievable 15 to 20 years to reach adulthood.

These turtles are known to be the biggest sized from all and spotting them resting on the shore is a very rare sight. Their peculiarity is their tear-shaped body and the large pair of front flippers. Thanks to these they can navigate the waters effortlessly and adapt to currents. The front flippers of the Leatherback turtles can grow up to 8.9 ft which is a lot in comparison to any other turtles, but it’s not their only distinguishable characteristic. The most obvious one is that they don’t have a bony carapace, but instead they have thick skin, which looks like leather and this is where their name comes from. Leatherback turtles are usually dark grey or black with a few white spots.
What is the largest sea turtle? According with National Ocean Service The leatherback is the largest living sea turtle. Weighing in at between 550 and 2,000 pounds with lengths of up to six feet, the leatherback is a big turtle!

Right now, century-old turtles presumably exist on this planet, and if you saw one, you might not even be able to recognize it.
