12-Year-Old Boy Pats A King Cobra On The Head Like A Puppy After Tracking Down Snake “With Enough Venom To Kɪʟʟ An Elephant”

A ꜰᴇᴀʀless 12-year-old boy was filmed as he touched two king cobra snakes, which are reported to be “ᴅᴇᴀᴅʟʏ”.

Miller Wilson, from Queensland, stumbled across two ᴅᴇᴀᴅʟʏ king cobras during his travels as he embarked on a journey to find wildlife animals in Western Bali. The ꜰᴇᴀʀless boy was trekking through the wild in search of the ᴅᴇᴀᴅʟʏ species – accompanied by the Bali Reptile Rᴇsᴄᴜᴇ team – when he spotted one of the snakes coiled up inside a dirt cave.

Wilson claims the snake has “enough venom to Kɪʟʟ a fully-grown elephant” in their venom glands located behind their eyes. According to cobra.org, the king cobra’s venom is mostly comprised of ɴᴇᴜʀᴏᴛᴏxɪɴs, which will brutally ᴀᴛᴛᴀᴄᴋ a person’s central nervous system and just one ʙɪᴛᴇ can lead to ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ within thirty minutes.

Showing no signs of ꜰᴇᴀʀ, young Wilson then proceeded to pick up the two metre reptile from its natural habitat by using a long stick to cradle the snake out into the open.

“We’re out in west Bali and there’s a story from a few days ago – a king cobra ʙɪᴛ a cow and the cow ᴅɪᴇᴅ,” Wilson said. “So We actually went looking for the king cobra and we’re not 100 per cent sure if this is the one.”

In piece of footage, Wilson calmly places his hand on the cobra’s head, claiming the bold move was something he had always wanted to attempt. “Now the one thing I’ve always wanted to do with cobras is actually touch them on the head just like that with your hand,” he said.

“But seeing this one was wild and extremely angry, I didn’t know I could actually do it so after asking some locals, they said it should be ok so here’s how that went down. Surrounded my members from the Bali Reptile team, Wilson stands in front of the snake as he gently places his hand on its head for nearly 10 seconds.”

The following day, the group managed to relocate a larger cobra in “someone’s backyard”. Wilson comes across another king cobra and successfully touches its head again.

After 3 days of experience, Wilson found pangolins, rays, snakes, porcupines, lizards and especially touched the heads of 2 king cobras. This must have been a great experience for him.
