In one of the sweetest image the animal world have ever offered, a polar bear cub is completely left in ꜰᴇᴀʀ when a baby seal pops through ice, straight in front of him. Happened by chance, the moment was luckily caught on camera, and the Internet can’t handle the cuteness.
Alaska – A polar bear waits patiently for a seal, but her cub is taken by surprise when it appears unexpectedly. Snow Bears, the dramatised true-to-life tale of polar bear cubs on a journey of a lifetime is a show created by BBC One, and their promo for the series has left the internet all warm and fuzzy! Soon as they reached the endless glacier, the ʜᴜɴɢʀʏ mother started to ᴄʜᴀsᴇ seals – polar bears main food source – hoping her two cubs will also develop their ʜᴜɴᴛɪɴɢ skills. But the mother bear’s expectations are soon ʀᴜɪɴᴇᴅ as one of the cubs epically ꜰᴀɪʟs on her first lesson. It’s a fun-packed, snowy adventure as two young bears learn how to survive. The journey is triggered by the arrival of spring when the ice ᴠᴀɴɪsʜᴇs from the island of their birth and with it, the seals. Polar bears must follow their ᴘʀᴇʏ to the year-round pack ice in the far north. Inspired by the ꜰᴇᴀʀless mother, the cub seems more determined than ever to ᴄᴀᴛᴄʜ her own dinner, but only to ꜰᴇʟʟ on her back with ꜰᴇᴀʀ, when a baby seal found its way through the ice just in front of the bear. Clearly, the little one didn’t expect to this.

Throughout the sometimes ᴘᴇʀɪʟᴏᴜs ᴇxᴘᴇᴅɪᴛɪᴏɴ, their mother teaches them necessary ʜᴜɴᴛɪɴɢ and sᴜʀᴠɪᴠᴀʟ skills while also encountering a number different animals. One particularly cute moment in the trailer sees one cub sʜᴏᴄᴋᴇᴅ as a seal pops its head out of the cracked ice. The cub ends up falling back in surprise as the seal stares on.
During their 400-mile trek their mother also teaches them to stay vigilant for possible ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴛs – one of which is a giant male bear who follows them throughout their journey.
