A Baby Elephant Got Stuck In A Muddy Ditch And Is Pulled Out By Indian Villagers

This is when a baby elephant fell into a ditch as it tried to keep up with its herd. While the rest ran away, this small animal plunged down a small hill under a railway track in Assam, India. Fortunately, the train stopped, and dozens of passengers jumped out to help pull him to safety.

The little elephant had been trying to keep up with its herd when it sʟɪᴘᴘᴇᴅ on the crumbling rail track.

Thankfully dozens of passengers stopped to lend a hand as he became sᴜʙᴍᴇʀɢᴇᴅ in mud.

A forest official arrived to help him out of the ditch in Assam, India, as people handed bits of food to the baby.

This man offers a stick to grab and climbs down to try another approach.

People sat on the side of the ditch to make sure the little one gets out safely.

The animal appeared sᴄᴀʀᴇᴅ at the predicament it faced but fortunately, the situation was happily resolved.
