13ft Python Vomits Out Entire Dog After Sᴡᴀʟʟᴏᴡɪɴɢ It Whole

Snakes sᴛʀɪᴋᴇ ꜰᴇᴀʀ into may people’s hearts, but this one might just push you over the edge. In this grisly instance, a massive python ʀᴇɢᴜʀɢɪᴛᴀᴛᴇs what appears to be a dog. Yeesh! The huge snake had likely sᴡᴀʟʟᴏᴡᴇᴅ more than it could handle and had no choice but to empty its stomach contents.

This is the sʜᴏᴄᴋɪɴɢ moment a snake vomits out a dog it had sᴡᴀʟʟᴏᴡᴇᴅ whole in a forest in India.

The ʜᴀʀʀᴏᴡɪɴɢ footage was captured by a group of wildlife enthusiasts while on a rescue mission in Udaipur in Rajasthan, when they noticed a large rock python squirming on the grass with a full belly.

After noticing a large rock python squirming on the grass with a full belly, the group decided to get closer to the reptile and film what happened next.

The man who shot the video said: “On Wednesday morning, we were going on a rescue and on the way we saw some people disturbing a four-metre long Indian Rock Python that had eaten something. As we reached closer to the reptile, it was spilling out the ᴋɪʟʟ which was a street dog.”

It took the python almost half an hour to sᴡᴀʟʟᴏᴡ the dog, which was possible because its jaw bones are not connected, the man said.

The python ended up vomiting the dog up out of its system, something snakes often do when they are sᴛʀᴇssᴇᴅ or feel a ᴘʀᴇᴅᴀᴛᴏʀ is lurking nearby. Instead of putting their energy into ᴇᴀᴛɪɴɢ the ᴘʀᴇʏ, they regurgitate, and put the energy towards getting away.

There have been several cases of pythons ᴘʀᴇʏing on goats and dogs in Indian villages recently. Snake experts believe excessive deforestation is leading to a serious imbalance in the ecological system, forcing the reptiles and other wild animals to come closer to human habitats.
