Pigs, you’ll be surprised make lovely pets and many people do have pigs. What would you say to a large python??? Sounds good? Maybe not to you but this woman slept with a python every night. The large full grown python was her pet.
As a snake lover, should you really allow such close proximity with an unconventional pet? Well she did and while she thought it was as loving as it could be, the loving python had other ideas up its sleeve.
Every single evening, the woman would sleep with her pet python sprawled her body. When she’d sleep on her stomach, her beloved python would spread out its body from her head to her toes. It was a bonding moment that she cherished with her snake. Until she noticed something was wrong.
After weeks of sleeping with the woman in her bed, the python suddenly stopped eating. The worried owner took her pet snake to the vet to make sure the animal wasn’t sick. What the vet told her was sʜᴏᴄᴋɪɴɢ.
He asked whether the python slept with her, snuggling up to her and stretching itself out all around her. She said, “Yes! Every day and it makes me so sad that I can’t help him feel better.” A revelation such as what the vet confirmed would have definitely made any person’s ʙʟᴏᴏᴅ run cold. Here’s what the doctor told her.
“Your Python isn’t t sick at all” the vet told her. What the vet told her next gave her the ultimate sʜᴏᴄᴋ. “Madam, Your ᴘʏᴛʜᴏɴ ɪs ᴘʀᴇᴀᴘʀɪɴɢ ᴛᴏ ᴇᴀᴛ ʏᴏᴜ.”
It turned out that the python was fasting in order to prepare itself for a big meal – its loving owner. The vet explained that when the python moved and curled up around her during the night, it was to better judge the size and weight of the young woman. In other words, the python was sizing the woman up and getting ready to ᴇᴀᴛ her!
Her concern for her snake undoubtedly sᴀᴠᴇᴅ her life. We definitely hope she’s learned her lesson and isn’t sharing her bed with her unusual pet any longer!
