The photos that have been causing a stir on the Internet lately, show the fierce aspects of the animal world. A falcon tried to catch a snake as ᴘʀᴇʏ, but the situation turned around unexpectedly.
The falcon grabbed the delicious snake, and somehow the snake wrapped its tail around the falcon’s neck, sᴛʀᴀɴɢʟɪɴɢ it in mid-air, causing them both to wobble and fall into the river.
A boatman spotted the pair and tried to pull them up. But the snake was able to wrap itself around the osᴘʀᴇʏ’s neck and lock into a chokehold. The rescuer reportedly is shown untying the snake from the ʜᴀʟꜰ-ᴅʀᴏᴡɴ bird and letting it loose, while the osᴘʀᴇʏ stood, drying in the sun and trying to recover.
This must be the weirdest thing ever floating in the Snake River. They were stuck together in a death lock, each wanting to ᴋɪʟʟ the other first. Both were reported to be ᴀʟɪᴠᴇ and well. The rescuer thought that in a few minutes the snake would probably win.
Rescuer said: “The tail was actually tied in a knot around the neck and getting tighter by the second. I got the snake untied, and well, as you can see, they both made it. This is another one of those stories you tell and are always acknowledged with “yeah, right!” Well, here’s the proof.”
“Neither of them bit me or ᴀᴛᴛᴀᴄᴋᴇᴅ me; the snake didn’t want to stop biting the falcon’s leg, and only let go after I had untied everything else. I got the water out of the falcon’s lungs with the birdie inversion technique, and stayed with him until he was almost dried off in the sun, and flying a little. Ball of snake and falcon, that is the weirdest thing I have pulled out of the water so far, it beats the wagon wheel!”
