Animals are truly a gift from God and amazing to witness in their natural habitat. One of the most majestic creatures on land is the elephant. Some people may think that these large animals are sᴄᴀʀʏ or a ᴅᴀɴɢᴇʀ to people. But, the more we learn about elephants, the more we see how gentle and in-touch with their emotions that these beautiful animals can truly be. At times, they can even seem human.
When this American tourist decided to visit an elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai, Thailand, she thought she’ll came across some pretty friendly elephants. Yet, she had never expected any of this. One of the elephant calves just couldn’t get enough of cuddling with the female tourist. The moment was caught on camera and it might be the sweetest video you’ll see this week!
The adorable footage shows the youngest elephant at the sanctuary showering an unidentified tourist with tons of love and hugs. Suki is the newest baby elephant born at the Chia Lai Orchid – a sanctuary specialized in elephants ʀᴇsᴄᴜᴇ. Since she born, the cute elephant was surrounded only by loving and caring beings, so naturally she nothing but extremely affection with anyone that crosses her path.
So when this woman went anywhere near Suki, the baby elephant couldn’t stop hugging her and rolling around her. Even so, the sanctuary assured that “no human was harmed in the making of this video,” which can be quite unbelievable since the ‘tiny’ elephant weighs around 200lb.
Suki is definitely having the time of her life, but the tourist doesn’t seem to mind the elephant’s explosive energy. After rolling around in the grass, the couple eventually got close to Suki’s mother, who is clearly not too bothered about the whole thing. After all, she can be happy to rest while someone else is taking care of her little one.
Then, the tourist’s friends arrive and they all sit about stroking the baby elephant. It’s pretty touching stuff. It’s all for a good cause, as well. The Chia Mai Orchid elephant sanctuary does good work out there in Thailand. There are a lot of elephants that are in need of ʀᴇsᴄᴜᴇ. They also do work to stop ᴄʀᴜᴇʟᴛʏ of a different kind, towards humans.
